Survival Log guides & wiki

What to do at every stage of a Survival Log run

You get 10 hours to prepare, then the game stops telling you anything. This site answers the questions a run puts to you, in the order it puts them, with the default choice, the reason and the numbers, all read from the game itself.

45 guides · 17 lists · checked against the 9/2 Update (version 1.0.15511), released September 2, 2026

Where are you in the run?

Each stage opens with the guide the rest of it builds on, lists its decisions in the order the game poses them, and ends with the lists a player at that stage keeps open.

Answers, not opinions

8 questions every run runs into, and what the game's own data says about each.

How much food is enough before the outbreak? 1000 Satiety and 20 different foods The game scores both separately, about 21 days of food, spread across 20 kinds so appetite loss never sets in. See the working Which food system should I build first? Cooking, before either producer A recipe usually returns more Satiety than its ingredients, and reliably so at Perfect. Trapping is the one of the three that pays no Morale at all. See the working Is the expensive door worth it? 2.1× the wall, not 1.3× Hit points and damage reduction multiply, and the game only prints the hit points, so the tiers are further apart than the shop makes them look. See the working When does the weather stop my crops? 13 days of the 100 The forecast is on a fixed schedule, so every dark spell and cold snap is known before it arrives. See the working When is the next horde, and how hard does it hit? 8 hordes on a fixed calendar The first lands on day 7 and the hardest multiplies every zombie's damage by 10. Every crisis warns you or does not, on the same days in every run. See the working Why is my bag full when it looks half empty? 321 of the 475 supplies A bag allows so many grams per cell, and a supply weighs so many grams per cell. Whichever is denser decides which limit stops you, and on the smallest backpack most of the game is on the weight side. See the working What do the people on my phone want in exchange? 16 of the 20 want only food Every trading contact carries a shelf that empties once and never refills, and most of them will take nothing but the thing you also have to eat. See the working How many endings are there, and can I get them all? 9, and not on one character No story reaches more than 6 of them, and the choice is one item spent once, on day 74 at the latest. One list per kind of thing the game has, filtered by the game's own categories. Every entry opens in place with everything the game knows about it, or search everything at once if you only have a name.

Where the numbers come from

Every figure on this site is read from Survival Log's own data and recalculated whenever the game updates. The official names, the real thresholds, the actual probabilities. Nothing is estimated, and nothing is copied from another site. When something cannot be established, the guide says so instead of guessing.

Wage Slave burns 48 Satiety a day Every food figure on the site is measured against that one number.
The forecast is fixed, not rolled All 100 days are known in advance, so planting can be planned.
Every page names its patch Guides say which update they were checked against, so you can tell if one has aged.
